Ankita Singh

Passionate and Dedicated Special Educator

I Ankita Singh a passionate and dedicated special educator with over three plus years of experience working with children with diverse needs. My expertise spans across a wide range of disabilities, including:

  1. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  2. Learning Disabilities (LD)
  3. Intellectual Disabilities (ID)
  4. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

My work is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practice, and a strong commitment to inclusive education. I specialize in:

  1. Developing and implementingIndividualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  2. Practicing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)
  3. Strengthening functional literacy and numeracy skills
  4. Providing individual and parental counselling to support emotional regulation, behavioural challenges, and family dynamics

In addition to academic and behavioural support, I place strong emphasis on the mental health and emotional well-being of both children and their families. I believe that a child’s growth is most effective when emotional resilience and psychological support are integrated into the intervention process.

I hold a master’s degree in autism spectrum disorder from the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD), Chennai, a premier institution under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in the same field, focusing on inclusive practices and holistic development.

Through my clinical practice, I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering space that supports each child’s academic, emotional, and social development. I also work closely with families, offering them guidance and tools to build meaningful, supportive relationships with their children.

My approach blends educational support, therapeutic care, and emotional well-being, ensuring that every child is not only prepared for academic success—but also for a happy, confident, and independent life.
